Traffpro is a Network Security, Reporting and Billing System and solves problem related to network traffic sharing and control. It controls traffic that is used in various networks and protects your network from external intrusions with its firewall system.
It is a Linux based Traffic Control, Traffic Accounting, Traffic Shaping, Bandwidth Management and Bandwidth Control System that helps your ISP company/Organization/SOHO run steadier and more efficiently.
HIGHLIGHTS
-
Protect your Network
TraffPRO protects you from malicious incoming Internet threats such as viruses, spyware, hackers, identity thieves and more.
-
Monitor Apps & Network
Monitor online behavior at the user, client and incident level. You can see what web sites are being visited, by whom, on what system.
-
Control your Network
Restrict access to inappropriate sites, manage when certain sites can be accessed, and control undesireable Internet activity, like web shopping during work hours.
KEY FEATURES
* Logging and Reporting: All activity is tracked and available to be monitored, to be reported and acted upon.
- Maximum concurrent connections - Limit the number of connections to the portal itself per client IP. This feature prevents a denial of service from client PCs sending network traffic repeatedly without authenticating or clicking through the splash page.
- Login interface - Option to login with a log off button. Interface shows the user his statistics and other tools.
- MAC/IP filtering - TraffPRO can filter using MAC/IP addresses.
- Authentication options - There are four authentication options available.
- No authentication - This means the user just clicks through your portal page without entering credentials.
- Local user manager - A local user database can be configured and used for authentication.
- AD authentication - This is the preferred authentication method for corporate environments and ISPs. It can be used to authenticate from Microsoft Active Directory.
- SQUID based -
WAN Failover allows companies to prevent network downtime caused by their Internet Service Provider (ISP). The application detects if a company's primary Internetlinkgoes down and switches traffic to a backup connection automatically. When used with WAN Balancer, WAN Failover detects downtime and reroutes traffic to the remaining Internet links.
- Automatically detects Internet outages and switches to the backup provider
- Customize thresholds and tests per connection
- Logs Internet downtime making it easy to identify connections with poor reliability
- Port forwards including ranges and the use of multiple public IPs
- 1:1 NAT for individual IPs or entire subnets.
- Outbound NAT
- Default settings NAT all outbound traffic to the WAN IP. In multiple WAN scenarios, the default settings NAT outbound traffic to the IP of the WAN interface being used.
- Advanced Outbound NAT allows this default behavior to be disabled, and enables the creation of very flexible NAT (or no NAT) rules.
- NAT Reflection - in some configurations, NAT reflection is possible so services can be accessed by public IP from internal networks.
The system provides reports on bandwidth consumption by users, consists of a terminal administrator under two operating systems Windows and Linux, the module also has a Web client, which does not depend on the platform.
We recommend that you install on RedHat based systems (Fedora, CentOS). Only on such systems can guarantee them ease of installation and configuration.
